The American International Club of Zurich was founded in 1957 and provides a non-political, international networking forum for members of all nationalities. The AICZ has no political affiliations or objectives, and is not a profit-making organization.

In addition to all the fun activities featured in this month’s newsletter, I’d like to mention a few initiatives that you may be interested in.
Monthly Member Profiles
Each month we will profile a member of the Club. This is a easy way to get to know your fellow members who you may not have had occasion to meet personally at an event. It is a great way to profile yourself if, for example, you own your own business or are looking for a job. The profile will have a picture accompanied by 2 paragraphs that explains who you are, why you are in Switzerland and what your particular interest or focus is.

Corporate Membership 2024
An AICZ Corporate Membership offers a firm an exceptional and cost-effective way to support their English-speaking expatriate employees, regardless of their nationality. The Club activities offer them (and their families!) social connections and networking opportunities that are essential to settling in to Switzerland and life as an expat. Experience has shown that such fellowship and support adds greatly to an employee’s overall satisfaction and can aid him/her in their work life as well. An employee who is happy living here is more likely to stay. And that benefits the company!

We have decided to update the website design. If you, or someone you know, is skilled in website design and would like to get involved, please let us know!
Reciprocal agreement with other American Clubs
As a AICZ member, you are given member rates at other American Club events. There are 17 American Clubs in Europe and you are most welcome in all. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, having friendly contacts in that country/city can be pleasant and also useful.
